I’ve published two articles so far: Fractal Sovereignty and The Nexus. I intend for them to be documents, something like chapters in a book, which are still works-in-progress with commenting turned off. This post is open for comments on and discussion about the ideas in those documents.
I believe that if all the good, truly awakened people in world acted as one, they could change the world almost overnight. They don’t have to be a majority or even close to a majority. They only need to act together so as to focus their collective will where it will have the greatest impact. Two things are needed to do this: (a) a communication network and (b) specific action plans.
Thanks to modern technology and the Internet, we already have the means to communicate. All that is needed is to form our own virtual network on top of the existing one.
Choosing where to focus our actions is more challenging. I look at the world as a complex system which, like all such systems, has points that are resistant to influence as well as points that are sensitive to influence such that even a small stimulation will be magnified to a global scale by the internal dynamics of that system; the system has built-up energy waiting for a trigger, but the trigger exists only in a certain place at a certain time, like a code for a time-locked bank vault. The trick is to identify those trigger points.
I believe the Canadian truckers found one of the trigger points. There are so many factors working in their favor. Their businesses, their offices, there homes-away-from-home are their trucks which can be redeployed as a mobile blockade. They have their own independent CB communication network. They are a linchpin for the whole economy including international trade. The double-whammy effect of ceasing normal operations and blockading transportation routes gives them tremendous leverage.
I admire them and support their cause of freedom. However, I have mixed feelings about their strategy. They are taking the fight to their opponents on their opponents’ home court. There was bound to be a reaction from authorities. That reaction will test the peaceful resolve of the truckers; I hope they stand firm in their commitment to peace. And I hope that none of them become martyrs, and that there is minimal collateral damage.
There are strategies which are not directly confrontational and do not invite a violent reaction from authorities because the actors are decentralized and/or invisible. For example, while people still have some freedom to withdraw their monetary support, boycotts can be amazingly effective. Money still talks and corporations still listen when their bottom line is affected. Perhaps it’s the only thing they listen to. Another example is prayer, which is invisible but effective, especially when many pray together.
The Fractal Sovereignty post gives a philosophical basis for two complementary solutions to the challenge of looming tyranny on our planet. One is decentralization/localization; links to early articles about decentralization on another platform are provided within that post. The other is a proposed virtual network for coordinating voluntary collective actions named The Nexus. Please comment below.
Addendum: After 8 months, as of October 12, 2022, I’m closing this discussion and passing the torch. Please read Global Walkout for an explanation. Thank you to all who participated.
The leftist affinity-group model is similar to and intentionally smaller than your proposed model, but one flaw of their anarchy-based model is the inability to change and grow.
Hierarchy is the model. Nature provided it. Fractalled (sp?) pods are the local level connecting with the other locals, in a way. Do I get that right? I agree with the majority of your summations. I think it needs concrete examples as to how the inter operative pieces work for others to grasp?
I think that small towns and maybe even medium towns have operated this way. A lot is inherent in “family” and those we love, don’t you think? I have a share that isn’t perfect, but to me succinctly defines some of this. We each have to own our individual responsibility, and educate our children and ourselves while continuously defending and living our sovereignty.
I came across this video doing another type of search. It aligns with most of these concepts. https://youtu.be/zsLa0tHz7n0. I only see one ‘trigger’ and that’s for women who may this this is a sexist view. I am a woman, and do not agree with that. I can have my freedom and still be protected by the man I love/married. Cit.Doc - does this provide one example?
